In the early 80’s I bought a house with a large swimming pool. At that time, we had a toddler and another baby on the way. I needed something to protect my children from unsupervised access to the water. I called a fence contractor who came to my house with a portfolio of wrought iron style fencing designs, but due to the width of the rails, I knew my daughter could slip through. She would have been able to gain access to the water before I could get through the gate. I knew there had to be a better solution out there, so I reached out to a college friend that had older children. He told me about Protect-A-Child. He had done all the homework and comparison research for his own family and passed along the information to me. I not only bought the product for my family, I’ve been installing it for thousands of families ever since.
My foundational approach is treating the customers the way I want to be treated. It also pairs well with my “master plumber” and mechanical background. I not only know how to treat people, I excel at material design and installation.
I personally speak with every customer. Open communication from the consultation through to project completion is paramount to client satisfaction. Clients deserve respect and I start by respecting their time. I call when I’m on my way and if I’m running late. I include them in every step of their fence installation, from initial layouts to the design itself. I also give design ideas they can choose to implement before the installation. We are very transparent in our installations, which ultimately serves our clients and their families.
